Welcome to EastlandShoe.com, the website ("Site") of Eastland Shoe Corp. ("Eastland") and Eastland's weekly shoe giveaway (the "Giveaway"). The following sets forth Eastland's Giveaway Rules ("Giveaway Rules"). By entering the Giveaway, you are agreeing to these Giveaway Rules, as well as the terms and conditions set forth in Eastland's Terms of Use agreement, found at: Terms of Use. Eastland is the sole sponsor of the Giveaway and it may change or cancel the Giveaway and/or these Giveaway Rules at any time.

The Giveaway will run through December 31, 2012, however, it may be extended by Eastland and any such extended term will be posted to these Giveaway Rules.

No Purchase Necessary

There is no purchase necessary to enter the Giveaway and making a purchase will not improve your chances of being selected as part of the Giveaway.

Entering the Giveaway

To enter you must provide an email and physical mail address and certain personal information as part of the Giveaway entrance form found at: Win Free Shoes. Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries Eastland receives, but not how many entries you submit. Do not submit duplicate entries or addresses as this will not improve your chances of winning. You may enter once every week.

Use of Entrant Information

All information submitted as part of your entry become subject to Eastland's Terms of Use agreement, which includes Eastland's Privacy Policy, found at: Security & Privacy. Eastland will send all entrants emails and postal mail about the Site and/or Eastland's products. Entrants may unsubscribe or opt out of receiving such additional emails and postal mailings as described in Eastland's Privacy Policy. If you opt out, you will no longer be eligible to win the Giveaway.

Drawings

Giveaway drawings will be made on a weekly basis and the winner is randomly selected from all eligible entries. Winners are announced as soon as commercially reasonable after the drawing. Eastland's decisions are final. Eastland notifies the weekly winner by email. If the email address is invalid or the notification cannot be delivered, Eastland will select another winner at random. If a dispute arises over entitlement to a prize, the winner is the person to whom the email account was assigned by the appropriate agency, internet service provider, business, or organization.

Prizes

The weekly winner will receive one (1) free pair of Eastland brand footwear. Eastland may substitute another prize at its discretion. Eastland Limited Edition, 1955 Edition and Eastland Made in Maine USA Collection styles are excluded from Eastland's Weekly Free Shoe Giveaway.

Publicity

Winners may be required to complete a declaration of eligibility and a publicity release before receiving the prize. Winners are responsible for paying all taxes and expenses associated with the prize. By accepting the prize you are granting Eastland the right to use your name, city, state, and likeness for promotional purposes without compensation or notice to the extent permitted by law.

Eligibility

Each email address may win only once. The Giveaway is open only to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Eastland employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

Eastland is not responsible for (1) typographical errors, misdirected or incomplete entries; or (2) computer or telecommunication system failures or similar disruptions to email services and/or the Internet.

Disputes

These Giveaway Rules are governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of Maine, without respect to conflict of laws principles. All disputes shall be resolved as described in Eastland's Terms of Use agreement.
