    Occasionally, sizing for a unique Eastland shoe style may vary. If this is the case, we will have a "Fit Comment" in the product DETAILS tab. The "Fit Comment" will provide size suggestions for that style based on fit feedback we've received from other customers.

    Shoe Care

    Our customers often ask us how to care for their leather and suede shoes and boots to keep them looking their best season after season. Eastland Shoes are made for long lasting comfort and durability, but you can lengthen the lifetime and improve the fit of your new footwear with a few simple tips.

    Leather Soles Although it is not recommended to wear leather soled shoes in inclement weather, if you do, the most effective way to keep water out is to have a cobbler install sole guards - thin pieces of rubber that affix to the sole of the shoe.
    Leather Uppers: Cleaning and Waterproofing

    Remove mud and dirt with a gentle cleaner, such as Lexol-pH or dab with a damp cloth so that the marks disappear; then dab with equal parts water and white vinegar. Next, try a surface treatment to keep water and dirt from damaging the leather, such as a silicone spray or water-repelling cream.

    Silicone sprays form a protective layer, are quick, and won’t alter coloration. But sprays require frequent applications and can ultimately crack the leather by not allowing it to breathe. On light-colored leather, we suggest Meltonian Water & Stain Protector or Kiwi Protect-All; these won’t change the leather’s hue.

    Application of a water-repelling cream several times a season provides extra protection with minimal discoloration. Most contain natural oils, beeswax, and/or silicone (which, when applied in this manner, better allows a shoe to breathe).

    Waterproofing with beeswax is a labor-intensive process (you’ll need a hairdryer for proper application) and will darken leather, but it’s also the longest lasting and one of the most effective methods. True waterproofing comes only from mink oil, but there are major downsides: significant darkening and, ironically, leather damage in the long run.
    Suede Uppers: Cleaning and Waterproofing Remove dirt and restore the nap of suede and nubuck with a suede brush. Suede and nubuck shoes should be treated before wearing with a protective spray to prevent water stains. Make sure that any waterproofing/protective spray you use is made especially for these materials.
    Remember, Different Materials Require Different Treatments For suede, stick with sprays. Full-grain, calfskin, and exotic leathers (any leather you don’t want darkened) require a light cream. Smooth-leather chukkas, boots, and shoes do well with a beeswax finish. And for heavier-duty workboots, choose mink oil or a heavily oiled cream.
    Keeping Your Leather Footwear in Shape To speed drying and help maintain their shape after time outdoors, fill footwear with wooden shoe trees – cedar wood helps to absorb moisture and control odor. Don’t place them near heat, which can ruin leather by making it crack. Allow 12-24 hours between wearings for leather to dry completely.
    Shoe Repair Before minor problems become permanent damage, take your Eastland shoes to your local shoe repair shop.

    Materials needed:
    • Nylon bristle brush (like a tooth brush) and a soft, cotton rag.
    • Mild cleanser, laundry detergent or dish-washing detergent (non-bleach).
    • White cream shoe polish.
    To clean the canvas:
    • Apply the mild detergent to the brush and gently scrub the soiled area of the canvas.
    • Rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat if necessary.
    To clean the outsole:
    • Apply the detergent to the soft rag and clean the outsole edge.
    • Rinse with lukewarm water and dry.
    • Add cream polish to a dry area of the rag and apply it to the sole edge (sparingly).
    • Avoid excessive amounts or multiple coats of polish which will create a poor result.
    • Wipe edges for desired appearance.

    Clean your shoes by removing dirt with a mixture of soap and warm water applied with a soft bristled brush. Wipe them with a dry cloth using a circular motion. After cleaning, put them on a hanger and allow them to air dry. Under no circumstances should you place them in a dryer, because they can crack or melt.

    Please note that eastlandshoe.com does accept APO orders. Orders with a P.O. Box or APO Ship-to address will automatically be sent via USPS.

    Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and California are shipped by UPS Ground and typically arrive within 7-10 business days.

    Shipping International

    Eastland does not currently ship internationally, but we do have 2 options for customers outside the USA. (Please note that eastlandshoe.com does accept APO orders)
    Option 1: We have partnered with MyUS.com to offer convenient international shipping to our customers. They provide great shipping rates to more than 225 countries with quick delivery times. Customers sign up with MyUS.com and receive their own private U.S. street address to receive merchandise. MyUS.com provides specialized international package forwarding services from your new US address to your international address.

    Important: Eastland does not accept credit cards issued outside the United States. Therefore, you must use MyUS.com’s Personal Shopper service to make a purchase from eastlandshoe.com with an international credit card.

    Follow these two steps for international delivery:
    1. Sign up for your own MyUS address in America at MyUS.com.
    2. Use your new MyUS address, provided by Access USA, when placing your order with us. If your credit card has been issued outside the United States, you must use MyUS.com’s Personal Shopper service.

    HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

    You may return your eastlandshoe.com order up to 60 days from the date of purchase. Please follow these instructions to return your shoes to us:

    1. CHECK YOUR SHOES

    Items that are to be returned must be in the same condition as when you received them and they must be in their original Eastland box and packaging. Worn or damaged shoes cannot be returned for a refund.

    2. PACK YOUR SHOES

    Simply complete the Returns & Exchanges section on the Packing Slip Receipt you receive with your order and enclose it with the items that you are returning.

    4. SHIP YOUR RETURN

    Send returned merchandise to the following address:

    Make sure to keep the tracking number and shipping receipt for your records.

    HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM

    If you would like to exchange your shoes for a different style or size, simply follow these instructions:

    1. PLACE NEW ORDER

    Place a new order on our website for the shoes that you want. This will get your new shoes shipped fast, while we process your returned shoes that weren’t quite right.

    2. GET FREE SHIPPING

    When placing your replacement order, enter the free shipping promotional code (printed on your Packing Slip Receipt) on the checkout page and we will waive the shipping & handling fee.

    3. SEND BACK YOUR SHOES

    Follow the steps above to return the shoes that you would like to exchange.

    CREDITS

    Refunds can only be posted to the credit card used to make the original purchase. Refunds will be issued for the original purchase price and any applicable taxes. We will process your return as quickly as possible, but please note that it can take one or more billing cycles for your credit to appear after your return has been processed.

    PROBLEMS WITH ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE OR IN A RETAIL STORE

    We take pride in every pair of shoes that we make. Therefore, all Eastland products are guaranteed against material and manufacturing defects. Eastland does not guarantee wear and tear or any damage unrelated to the manufacturer.

    If you find that your shoes are defective beyond normal wear and tear, simply follow these instructions to contact our Customer Service department to request a Return Authorization Number.

    • Date Purchased

    If purchased in a retail store, please also let us know the Name, City, and State of the store.

    A member of our Quality Assurance Team will determine if your shoes are defective. If so, a replacement pair will be sent to you. Please note that we reserve the right to send you a similar style if the one you return is no longer in stock. If your shoes are not defective, we will return them to you as soon as possible.
